Tracey’s quote on what the award means to her:
“The awards means representation and the recognition of sacrifice in the quest to help build progressive and inclusive environments. It means giving a voice to those that are working towards amplifying the voices of the “other” and giving people the strength to continue doing this on a bigger platform and with greater visibility. It is a space that promotes the spirit of community and collective effort in fighting exclusion. I am honored to be recognized, yet alone seen as a finalist on this platform.”
