Join the fight for equal voices in the media. Put your financial skills to work for feminist change.
We are looking for a Volunteer Financial Support Person who wants to put their skills behind the movement. You don’t need to be a CFO – just someone with solid financial literacy, an eye for detail, and the will to help dismantle patriarchy by making sure our finances are rock-solid.
What you’ll do
- Support QW+ with basic financial admin: reconciling income and expenses, capturing transactions, checking for accuracy.
- Help us prepare clean, credible reports for our funders – because feminist accountability matters.
- Work with our small team to keep budgets on track, so we can spend more energy fighting for women+ voices, not chasing numbers.
- Strengthen the systems that make QW+ more sustainable, transparent, and funder-ready.
What you bring
- Experience in finance, accounting, admin, or bookkeeping – or simply the confidence and willingness to learn.
- Comfort with spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel). If you’ve worked with accounting software, even better.
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Belief that numbers are not neutral – they tell a story, and that story can help shift power.
- A feminist, justice-driven outlook, and a willingness to stand with women+ who are claiming space in the media.
What you’ll gain
