Vacancies: Media Liaison, Project Manager, and Finance PA
At Quote This Woman+, we are passionate about creating an inclusive media landscape that elevates diverse voices, particularly women+ experts across Africa. We’re growing, and we’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team in three exciting new roles. If you’re driven by purpose, love making an impact, and have the skills to support our work, we want to hear from you!
Here’s a snapshot of the roles we’re looking to fill:
1. Fellowship Project Manager
As QW+ continues to grow, we’re looking for someone to lead our brand new Fellowship for new and developing voices who are able to speak up on gender rights in South Africa. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about social justice, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at organising impactful programmes. You’ll be managing the recruitment, training, and support of new fellows, working closely with both the QW+ team and external partners. If you’re ready to take charge of a project that fosters leadership and amplifies underrepresented voices, this is for you!
This job is for you if…
- You are a critical thinker who is able to hit the ground running, and you feel confident in your networking, creative, and organisational skills. You’re ready to run with all aspects of the fellowship from recruitment, planning to monitoring and evaluation.
- You enjoy making sure everything runs smoothly, with all details meticulously managed. You’re excited about building relationships with fellows, and making sure everyone is supported and engaged.
- You’re also someone who thrives on finding funding opportunities and organising meaningful events-like a fellowship graduation celebration!
2. Media Liaison and Communications Officer
As our Media Liaison and Communications Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for journalists who engage with QW+, building relationships with media outlets across Africa and increasing the visibility of our experts. You’ll work with volunteers, help tell the powerful stories of the women+ on our database, and drive a content strategy that highlights the successes of our programs and experts. This role is key to growing QW+’s impact and visibility in the media world.

You love building relationships with media professionals and have a passion for amplifying underrepresented voices in the news. You’re a strong storyteller and communicator, skilled at crafting content that resonates with different audiences. You enjoy managing volunteer teams, working in a collaborative environment, and you’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities. Most importantly, you’re excited about using your skills to make a difference by promoting gender inclusivity in the media.
3. Finance and Admin PA
As QW+ continues to grow, we’re looking for someone who can keep our finances and admin running smoothly, while providing PA support to the Director. This position offers a lot of variety, from keeping track of our gantt chart , to managing day-to-day financial tasks, to helping with recruitment of new staff, and providing Board secretarial duties. We need someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and loves keeping things organised and on track!
This job is for you if…
You love keeping an eye on gantt charts, tracking budgets and finances, and making sure everything runs perfectly. You’re great at handling tasks like onboarding new team members and making sure timesheets match up to grant allocations. You enjoy using technology to make things run efficiently and you’re excited to know that your work helps towards greater social good. You have some experience, and you’re open to learning more and improving processes!
